Retail Sales Associate (Part Time - 3-4 days/week)
Location: This is an in-person position that may take place at either of our retail locations (99 Grand Street or 319 Graham Ave).
Schedule: 3-4 days per week; full day (11am-7pm) and weekend availability is required. Hours and days of week will vary (schedule is published approximately 3-4 weeks in advance). Someone with a flexible schedule is best suited for this opening. Potential to transition to full time position at a later date in 2026 if desired.
Compensation: $20/hr—$23/hr based on recent/relevant experience

Responsibilities include:
+ Conduct sales transactions on POS, accurately ringing up and packing items with care and attention
+ Being an all-star salesperson by offering suggestions/guidance and making sales while conveying an energetic authenticity and friendly familiarity with customers.
+ Promptly and thoroughly restocking merchandise after every sale and refreshing/maintaining the sales floor throughout the day
+ Receiving and processing incoming inventory
+ Monitoring online orders and prepping them for fulfillment
+ Keeping back stock neat and organized, restocking and replenishing supplies throughout the day
+ Customer service while exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication
+ Maintaining the storefront (organizing, cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, etc).

Requirements:
+ Prior retail experience, preferably in a boutique setting (applications with no prior retail experience will not be considered).
+ Ability and confidence to make sales through engaged interaction and by offering guidance & personalized recommendations
+ Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
+ Extremely reliable and high accountability
+ An outgoing, warm, vibrant and friendly personality with an authentic, natural ease with people
+ Self starter who takes initiative
+ Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
+ Organized, efficient and aesthetically/visually inclined (gift wrapping, merchandising).
Please note weekends can be VERY busy and intense, so the ideal candidate is confident, has a lot of extroverted energy, enjoys the fast pace and hustle of New York City, can think on their feet and can stay focused amidst many things happening at once.
