An antique "double" egg cup with a nasturtium-like floral motif. The smaller end would be used to serve a boiled egg in the usual way. The larger end was used to serve the egg chopped, mixed with salt and pepper and eaten with a spoon or fork.
Origin: Japan, 1930's. Sold as a single cup, with a different motif on either side (pictured).
Approximately 3.75" tall x 2.75" diameter.
Condition: Crazing is prevalent throughout, overall condition is excellent with no chips or cracks.
