Setting the bar high when it comes to fair trade and sustainable production, WomenCraft empowers over 600 artisans in Ngara, located in the remote northeast of Tanzania. This chic lidded basket is woven using local grasses, dried banana tree bark, and threads of upcycled grain sacks. Each basket takes anywhere from 3 to 7 days to complete, depending on its size.
